ciao,

qualcuno chiedeva a proposito del rapporto tra sistemi autonomi,
indirizzi ip e geografia.

proprio oggi mi arriva una e-mail di vinton cerf (padre di internet) che
scrive:

Internet is NOT geographical. It is topological and that is how the IP
address structure works. Networks are not confined to geography - their
nodes can be anywhere in the world. Autonomous system numbering is
network-oriented, not geographically oriented. Country code domain names
and  mapping of IP addresses to geography are approximations.
